Delete Your Account
You have the right to request deletion of your Bubble Surf Ride account and personal data. This page explains how to do that from the app or the website, what is removed, and what may need to be kept.
Delete your account from the app
If you can still log in to the Bubble Surf Ride app, you can request deletion directly from your profile:
- Open the Bubble Surf Ride app and sign in.
- Go to your Profile screen.
- Open Account settings and select Delete Account.
- Review what will be removed and confirm the deletion request.
This removes your customer profile from the platform.
Delete your account from the website
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by emailing our support team. Include your full name, the email address registered to your account, and your phone number so we can verify your identity.

What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, the following personal information tied to your customer profile is removed:
- Account profile information (your name and contact details).
- Your saved pickup and delivery address.
- Your profile photo.
- Other personal information stored as part of your customer profile that is eligible for deletion.
To fully remove your login account as well, please state this in your request — the in-app flow removes your customer profile, and our support team can complete full account removal on request.
What may be retained
Certain records may need to be kept where required by applicable South African law or legitimate legal obligations. This may include:
- Order and delivery records.
- Payment, accounting, and tax records.
- Fraud-prevention and dispute records.
- Other financial records we are legally required to retain.
These records are kept only for as long as the law requires and are then deleted or anonymised. They are not used to recreate your customer profile.
Retention periods
Specific retention periods for each category of retained information have not yet been finalised and are pending legal and compliance review. Once approved, the exact retention periods will be published in our Privacy Policy and this page will be updated to match.
